It's a damn shame Danny Almonte is 14 years old!!
Now, it has yet to be proven, but let's get real. If the kid was 12 years old, he's folks would have a birth certificate to prove it.
Have they no shame in the Bronx. I know Danny had to shave before games. Hell, I could throw heat to 12 year kids if I were about to enter high school.
Now get this, Almonte wasn't even in school!!! Nice, he's old as dirt and he doesn't even attend school in the United States.
Almonte's father says the kid has been "eating and playing ball" for the last 18 months.
I hear Nolan Ryan will pitch for the Baby Bronx Bomber next year. Who cares if he's 50!
This is another reason why I hate giving kids TV air time for stuff like Little League. The parents are just crazy.
"Old Man" Danny Almonte was born April 7, 1987 and his folks changed his birth cetificate to April 7, 1989. That's disgusting. And the b/c from 1989 Almonte's mother has is HANDWRITTEN!!
