Tough News in Mavs and Cowboy Land
Nellie Has Cancer

The Mavericks are hurting because Don Nelson has prostate cancer. Nellie is the man who always keeps the Mavs loose.
It's going to beat a very tough road for him. We're talking cancer. Nellie will be a nice spin on it and make us think it's no big deal. It is a big deal. It's cancer.
Dell Harris could be back in the coaches box for a short stint.
I wish Nellie the best. He's good guy.
Campo Could Be Cut Loose

It's becoming real clear that Jerry Jones is not happy with his staff. That's a real indicator to me that Dave Campo could be in trouble.
It's not all Campy's fault. He didn't draft that trash that he has to coach each Sunday.
But Norv Turner is on the market and Jerry Jones has to take a long hard look.
Right now, I say Troy Aikman retires. He's not having fun, this team doesn't have the draft picks to do anything, so why stick around to take another beating?
Norv could make it fun again. Troy will not learn another offense. He just won't do it. If Norv doesn't come to Dallas, then expect a Aikman retirement party in the Spring of 2001.
Huepel Should Win

If I had a Heisman vote, it would go to Josh Heupel of Oklahoma. He's a average quarterback that has average talent around him, but he's 12-0.
I love LT of TCU. He should be the winner, but the voters think only big time players are in the Big 12, ACC, SEC, Big Ten, or PAC-Ten.
