Pats Pick Wrong QB
Pats Will Rergret Not Starting Bledsoe

Bill Belichick loves quarterback controversies. He did in Cleveland and he's done it in New England.
See, I was in Cleveland to watch Little Bill yank Browns favorite, Bernie Kosar, for Vinny Testaverde. It was one of the moves that lead to his truculent relationship with the fans in Cleveland. In the end, Vinny stuck around longer than Bill. Belichick was fired when the team moved to Baltimore.
Fans in New England had foolish divided themselves on Bledsoe, so when the Coach didn't give him his starting job back fans didn't really cry for Bledsoe.
My vote would have been cast for Bledsoe because he has been to the Super Bowl and he lost it. The hunger to make sure you don't end up like Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, or Fran Tarkenton is there for Bledsoe. He recognizes the sick feeling of losing the biggest one game in sports.
Tom Brady is a good kid who has played a great season. But this is a move Scotty Bowman made a few years ago. The Detroit Red Wings were just playing great in the regular season with Chris Osgood as their top goalie. For some reason, when the playoffs hit, Bowman rode the back of Mike Vernon. The Wings went on to win the Stanley Cup in 1997. In fact, Mike Vernon was the Conn Smythe winner (Hockey's Playoff MVP).
This was Belichick's chance to pull off a Bowman like move. Drew Bledsoe added that spark that carried the Patriots to the AFC Title in Pittsburgh. I say keep it going.
