You just made a real general statement about athletes. I would need a specific example of an athlete to answer your question properly.
I know Emmitt Smith can read and write. Troy Aikman is a pretty smart fellow. He's made very wise investments with his money.
Tiger Woods did not graduate from Stanford, but I wouldn't say is was a dumb jock.
My buddy Babe Laufenberg didn't make ten of million of dollars in the NFL but he's a very successful member of the media.
