I'm white and at the Mavs game last night I booed Nash AND Van Excel. I am
not discriminating about booing idiots. Race has nothing to do with it. As a
matter of fact, I gave David Robinson, a true American patriot, a standing
ovation! I think Van Excel's booing was the timing of his statement. I've
been a Mavs fan since they started, but I can't root for this team of
Hollywood like liberals and socialist Europeans. I found myself pulling for
SA last night.

I just wanted to thank you for the balanced, fair, and complete perspective on the very controversial issue of the Mav's anti-war comments. I have often thought to myself that you are one of the most respectable media personalities in the area.
I find the booing of nick van exel very immature; I also find it very convenient that Nash wasn't booed and that people quit booing Van Exel once he started to produce.
As George Carlin stated many different times, "Just looking for a little bit of consistency people!"

Good afternoon, just wanted to know what you think about the Cowboys and the
direction they should go in over the next two years.
I see that they brought in a cheap and very good receiver. What Quarterback
is going to fit into this system? Griese perhaps...
on defense who are we going after to plug up the middle... We need someone
in the middle beside Dat.
Thanks for your time and have a great afternoon. The Rangers will play
better this year. I think more people should give them a chance. They have
just as much talent as anyone else in the west. Everybody else has just
gotten more out of those no name players and the Rangers haven't...
Hopefully things change. A true baseball fan.... not Rangers fan but
baseball fan who lives in D/FW....

The Cowboys need to just follow Bill Parcells leadership. He knows how to build teams and Jerry just needs to get him the players he needs to win.
Guys like Terry Glenn and Richie Anderson are the right guys. Parcells knows how to bring in his guys who will get the locker room right.
Brian Griese has character issues. I don't know if he's Parcells kind of QB. But he is an option they should look at.
I like Dat, but he is too small for Parcells. They must find a way to re-sign Kevin Hardy.

I am sick of them saying how bad the Mavs defense was against the Kings,
letting them get 126 points. I would have to say I don't believe the Kings
defense was any better, since the Mavs scored 124.

I have been listening to you on ESPN radio in the Dallas area for a short
while. At first I thought you were just another pretty TV face (ha-ha), but
as you begin to share facts and stats about players and teams I realized
that you had something going. Up till that point I only thought your co-host
Chuck and one other radio personality really knew sports.
I have to give you your props "dawg", you do more than give scores, you have
some game. Not bad for a Q dog. I am an A Phi A man, but it's all good when
you see a brother doing well.

Matt. Take Newman. Check the other emails in Ask Newy and you'll see why.
Newman gives you a defensive backfield of Newman, Derek Ross, Roy Williams, and Darren Woodson.
Suggs is good and I don't think he gets to 5. But you still have Ekuban and Ellis at the end spot. If you take Suggs you don't address your sorry corner situation.
The Cowboys only have 3 guys on the roster at corner right now.
