Q) Newy, why does Cuban continue to not trade Raef or Bradley. I know that Bradley is ok for his pay check, but if I would take Kurt Thomas over Bradley any day. and if Layden is stupid enough to take Raef's contract, then why not let him? Thanks, Andrew,Denton.

 --Perry Dirickson, Mesquite, TX

A) Cuban loves these guys.

He told me I would be wrong about Raef the way fans were wrong about Nash and Dirk when they were in their first seasons in Dallas.

I told him I'd lose weight before Raef got to be good in Dallas. Raef has talent, but I don't think he'll ever be good in Dallas. I just don't.

Cuban loves Bradley as well. I don't have a big issue with him. He's not killing the cap like Raef is. I'd love to dump that 69 million dollar Raef deal.

Q) Glad to hear your back Monday will you be alone or with a co-host. Can you comment on Coops whereabouts. Also what do you think about the Cowboys young corners

 --Charles MOORE, Garland, TX

A) Coop will be with both ESPN shows with his Coop In the Loop segments.

The Cowboy corners are good. Parcells said this week that they need to learn better technique.

He likes Derek Ross and Terence Newman, but feels they are street players and need to work on technique so big guys like Terrell Owens can't just shove them aside or just run by them.

Newman ran with the first team a lot last week. And don't sleep on Mario Edwards, he's fighting hard for his job.

Q) New Dawg... man, I miss the BIG SHOW... I'm trying to give Galloway a chance, but it's just not the same without you and Coop... Can't wait for your new show to start... So Coop isn't going to be with the station at all anymore? I thought you two had good chemistry and kept it real... Keep up the good work..

 --wilsontke@hotmail.com

A) Thanks.

Coop will still do hits for ESPN 103.3 FM for both shows.

All new shows need a chance.

Q) Newdawg, I just heard about the Brad Miller 3 way-deal and I don't understand it at all. 1. Why is Indiana taking Scott Pollard when we can give them one of our pgs? 2. How can San Antonio not give anything and be involved in this trade? 3. Why is Sacramento doing a trade that makes San Antonio better? If this goes down the Mavs should be looking to make a blockbuster(Rasheed I hope) or they'll be the 5th best team in the west. That's right 5th, Minnesota might even be better then us now.

 --Rich Brown, denison, TX

A) Mark Cuban thinks the best thing for the Mavs to do right now is just wait for the right deal.

Now, if the Mavs are going to trade for Rasheed Wallace. What will they give up?

That's always the question.

Q) What's up Dawg? I have tried the last two days to listen to that"sports radio show" that is on instead of the Big Show. I know I am not the only one that thinks it is BORING!!!! Are you and Chuck going to be back on the air soon? What do you think of the new 3-6?

 --michael.g.williams@citigroup.com

A) I'll be on ESPN 103.3 FM with a new mid morning show from 10-Noon. Check it out.

Randy Galloway and Company is great. Just give them time and you will love them too.

Q) Newy, Explain how the Clippers could have a better offseason than the Mavericks thus far. It's another bad sign for the Mavericks when the Clippers are willing to spend money:) I am in no way saying that the Clippers are playoff ready but locking up Elton Brand, Corey Maggette, and the $10M for six year offer to Arenas gives them an excellent core of young guys for Dunleavy to coach. Talk to me.

 --chris daniels, sachse, TX

A) That's real easy. The Clippers had money the Mavericks don't have it.

The Clippers had to spend some money to get up to par on the salary cap. You do have to spend a certain amount, so we all know they would have to spend.

The Heat only offered 4 more million than the Clippers originally offered Brand. So no biggie in that move.

Arenas, I am surprised. He fits them to a T. Now they have 3 point guards with off guard ability as well.

I always have said it, Elgin Baylor knows talent. Donald Sterling just didn't always want to keep it.

Q) New Dawg.. What's up brotha? I just wanted to express myself on this Kobe situation. I always hear people talking about he was too young to get married and that caused him somehow to make the decision to go outside his marriage. But we all know that older men have cheated on their spouses. Ever hear of Michael Jordan (my idol), Magic Johnson, James Worthy, and many, many others? These are grown men who went out and did whatever with women. Don't blame this on his age. He just made a terrible decision.

 --wilsontke@hotmail.com

A) Youth can lead to bad decisions. I think to my college friends who were young, and 66% of them are now divorced.

Marriage is tough and it's clear Kobe didn't have all that he wanted at home because he went outside his home to satisfy his lust. It's sad, but it's true. The divorce rate in the state of California is 60-75%. It is tough for young couples.

Kobe and his parents had a fall out over him getting married, reportedly without a pre-nump, to a girl who was fresh out of high school.

Magic ran around for years. Jordan got married, after his wife threaten to take him to court since he and Juanita had a baby out of wedlock. Oh yeah, Jordan's wife used to take Reggie Theus before she met him. Hmmmmmm?

And Big Game James. He'd been with his wife since his Carolina days. You hope he didn't get tired of eating the same old Corn Flakes that night in Houston years ago. But maybe he did.

Marriage is tough.

Q) With GP probably only staying one year in LA I think the Mavs should just get Horry this year and go with what they have. Let's face it we missed out this year on the cream and Horry gives good minutes. Then we can concentrate on the true priorities for all Mavs fans...trading Raef.

 --Bacana5@aol.com

A) Question. Where does Horry fit, if as Mark Cuban says, they want Raef to play at the power forward spot. Dirk will be at the small forward spot?

Now, Horry could come off the bench. But what if Horry wants to be a starter?

Horry wants a 3-year deal to come to Dallas. No way!! I love Rob and his a great guy, but you don't give Laker rejects 3-year deals.

How are you supposed to pass the Lakers by taking their scraps? Who else is banging down Horry's door?

If Horry will take a one year deal under 2 million he should be added.

Trading Raef...find a taker Dean and I'd say ship the stiff off.
